Freeze Datarooms

You can now freeze datarooms to close them permanently while preserving all content and activity.

What freezing does:

• Blocks all visitor access — No one can view documents or upload files
• Prevents modifications — Upload, reorder, and indexing are disabled
• Triggers archive generation — Creates a downloadable ZIP of all dataroom content
• Provides secure download links — Time-limited URLs for retrieving the archive

Perfect for closing completed deals, archiving old fundraising rounds, or preserving M&A transaction records.
