Destro AI builds the intelligence layer for warehouse robotics. Instead of building another robot, the Brooklyn-based team built two AI systems that make the robots warehouses already run work together:
- MothershipOS, the shared mind outside the robot body, decides which robot does which task, where, when and how
- VisionOS, on-robot intelligence trained on human demonstrations, lets robots perceive, grasp and handle real-world objects
Less than a year after founding, Destro AI was live in production with large third-party logistics providers, including production pilots with Yusen Logistics in the Americas.
In September 2026, Destro AI announced an $8M seed round co-led by Base10 Partners and Bonfire Ventures, with participation from CoFound Partners. Founder and CEO Manthan Pawar ran the raise with Papermark, a secure, modern way to share a deck and a data room with investors.
- $8M+ seed round
- Co-led by Base10 Partners and Bonfire Ventures
- Live in production with leading logistics operators less than a year after founding
- Fundraising run on Papermark

"We used Papermark to close our $8.37M round, and I've referred many founders to use it!" - Manthan Pawar, Founder and CEO, Destro AI
Why the deck had to work on its own
Destro AI's pitch is a contrarian one. In Manthan's words:
"Everyone is building capable robots. We believe the next breakthrough won't come from another robot. It will come from the intelligence layer." - Manthan Pawar
A thesis like that has to land the moment an investor opens the deck, often before the first call. For a seed round, the founder needs to know:
- Who actually opened the deck after an intro or a follow-up
- Which slides held attention, and where investors dropped off
- When to follow up, while the deck is still fresh
- That sensitive material stays controlled once diligence starts
How Papermark fits a seed raise
With Papermark, a founder shares the deck as a link instead of an attachment, so every view is tracked and access can be changed at any time.
- Page-by-page analytics. See which slides each investor read and how long they spent on each one.
- Real-time tracking. Know the moment an investor opens the deck, and follow up while it matters.
- A data room for diligence. Move interested investors into a data room with the model, customer proof and legal documents in one place.
- Control over every link. Ask for an email, set expiry dates, or switch off access once a conversation ends.
