How to fetch branding from your website in Papermark?

Instead of hunting for logo files and hex codes, you can paste your company website URL and let Papermark pull branding for you. The Auto-fill from website feature reads your site and fills in logo and brand color fields so your documents and data rooms match your public brand in seconds.

Fetch branding is available on the Business plan and above, the same plans that include global branding.

What fetch branding does

When you click Fetch, Papermark:

• Reads the website URL you enter (for example company.com or https://www.company.com)
• Pulls your logo when one is available on the page
• Suggests brand colors that match your site
• Fills the branding form so you can preview before saving

You stay in control. Review every field after fetch, adjust colors or swap the logo, then save when it looks right.

Where fetch branding works

You can use Auto-fill from website in two places:

Location	What it applies to
Global Branding (sidebar Branding)	Default branding for every document and data room
Data room Branding (inside a room)	Branding for that data room only

Global branding is the fastest way to brand your whole account. Data room branding is useful when a specific deal needs a client or portfolio company look.

Step-by-step: fetch branding globally

Step 1: Open global branding

1. Log into Papermark as a workspace admin.
2. Click Branding in the left sidebar.
3. Stay on the Document Branding tab and open the Branding sub-tab.

Step 2: Fetch from your website

1. Find Auto-fill from website.
2. Enter your domain (for example company.com).
3. Click Fetch.
4. Wait a few seconds while Papermark reads your site.

Step 3: Review and save

1. Check the logo preview and brand color fields.
2. Adjust anything that needs a tweak.
3. Click Save changes.

Your branding now applies to new links and updates existing ones on the next viewer visit.

Step-by-step: fetch branding for one data room

1. Open the data room you want to brand.
2. Click Branding in the left sidebar.
3. Open the Branding tab.
4. Enter your website URL under Auto-fill from website and click Fetch.
5. Review the results in the live preview (Dataroom View, Document View, Front Page).
6. Click Save changes.

Tips for better results

• Use your marketing homepage, not a login or app subdomain. The public site usually has the clearest logo and colors.
• Enter the root domain (acme.com) if the full URL fails. Papermark normalizes common formats.
• Upload manually if needed. Some sites block automated reads or hide logos behind JavaScript. You can still upload a PNG or SVG after fetch.
• Pair with custom domains so the URL and visuals both match your brand.
